Prof. Ash Mosahebi

Prof. Mosahebi graduated from Guy’s & St Thomas Medical School in London. He trained as a plastic surgeon at the Deanery of London, in some of the largest and busiest hospitals in the United Kingdom. He has had additional specialist training in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in New York and Belgium.
He is a consultant and academic leader at the Royal Free Hospital in London. He is a professor of plastic surgery at University College London and is consistently in the top 10 of global rankings.
He is the author of several publications and has given many lectures around the world. He is involved in groundbreaking research into regenerating new tissue through new biomaterials and tissue engineering, as well as clinical trials of innovative wound healing techniques.
He is on the Editorial Board of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, President of the BAAPS Academy, Past President of the Royal Society of Medicine (Plastic Surgery Section), has served on the UK Specialist Advisory Committee for Plastic Surgery. Director of the UCL Aesthetic Masters programme.
He is on the advisory panel for Health Education England regulations on non-invasive aesthetic treatments.
Prof. Pirayesh is an internationally renowned plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon, and owner of Amsterdam Plastic Surgery Clinic (NL), Switzerland Plastic Surgery (CH) and professor at the Department of Plastic Surgery & Surgical Biotechnology at University College London (one of the top ten universities worldwide).
Prof. Pirayesh is one of the few plastic surgeons who excels in both aesthetic surgery and non-surgical procedures, achieving unparalleled natural results with the best techniques from both worlds. He is considered an authority on global education on the use of medical lasers, Botox and safe fillers, which are often used to enhance the effect of surgery, and combines these with advanced regenerative therapies.
He developed the first non-commercial artificial skin with his research team: Glyaderm®. He and his team donated the patent for this invention to the non-profit Euro Tissue Bank to help burn victims and patients with other serious injuries worldwide. He is a clinical advisor to the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burn Unit of Ghent University Hospital, where he continues to research plastic surgery, burns and tissue engineering.
Prof. Pirayesh, MD PhD, teaches aesthetic and plastic surgery, medical lasers, injectables and facial anatomy, and is regularly invited to give lectures and workshops worldwide to colleagues and other physicians. He organizes the CFA course (Clinical Facial Aesthetics) twice a year. During this international course, doctors from all over the world come to learn innovative and safe technologies in the field of aesthetic treatments. He spends a lot of time and energy staying abreast of global developments in plastic surgery, both aesthetic and technological.
